More foreign participation in River Hongbao celebrations
This year's River Hongbao celebrations will see more participation from foreign countries, including China.
One example is having art decorations from the Chinese city of Chengdu.
Residents from four constituencies will also gather for a gala dinner, where non-Chinese and new citizens will be invited. The dinner will be held from January 17 to January 20.
To usher in the Year of the Tiger, the dinner menu will have a tiger theme.
The 24th River Hongbao will be held at The Float @ Marina Bay from February 12 to February 20.
