Lunar New Year celebrations kick off with light-up at Chinatown
With less than a month to go before the start of the Lunar New Year, festivities in Chinatown are already in full swing.
Thousands gathered to kick off the celebrations as they started off with a bang on Saturday.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong was at the launch of the light-up, which marked the start of the six-week Chinatown Lunar New Year celebrations.
Over 700 performers took part in various musical and cultural performances, with this year's theme being "A Celebration of Spring".
